Does a weekend away from the stresses of home life and work sound appealing to you? Well, Patchwork Plus has planned the perfect getaway weekend for anyone who enjoys sewing, quilting, knitting or other handwork.

Just picture a large carpeted room with a fireplace filled with other ladies who enjoy the same things you do. Imagine being there for a weekend away from the phone, TV, housework, or yard work and doing nothing but what you enjoy most - sewing or quilting.

On March 14 - 17, 2008 at Massanetta Springs, Patchwork Plus will be hosting their 4th Annual Retreat. The retreat starts at 2:00 P.M. on Friday afternoon and we will work as late as you want on Friday and Saturday night. We will leave the retreat by noon on Sunday.

Massanetta Springs is getting ready for a big remodeling project. "To help them with their fundraising, I would like each person to make a block for a sampler quilt. I will provide the main fabric and you provide the coordinates for the block". Just think, you can use one of the many Saturday Sampler patterns that you have. More details to follow.

What do you need to bring? Just your sewing machine, your work in progress, and your favorite snack food and drink. The cost of the retreat includes two (2) nights lodging, two (2) breakfast buffets, two (2) dinner buffets, and use of the conference room. Each room has two twin beds and two adjoining rooms share a bathroom. Linens are provided. Remember, this is a church camp retreat facility not a four-star hotel.
